These terms govern your use of TaxBase. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully. This page is provided for a design recreation and is not legal advice.

1.Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TaxBase, you confirm that you can form a binding contract and that you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any firm you represent.

2.Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and professionally. You will not:

  • Use the service in violation of applicable laws or professional standards.

  • Upload content you do not have the right to submit.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

4.Accounts and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless stated otherwise. You may cancel at any time, and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5.Professional responsibility

TaxBase assists with drafting, research, and analysis, but it does not replace professional judgment. The tax professional using the service remains solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving every output before relying on it or delivering it to a client.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. We retain all rights to the service, its software, models, and underlying technology. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.

7.Confidentiality and data

Our handling of the data you upload is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Your client data is not used to train AI models.

8.Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10.Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When changes are material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
