1.Information we collect

We limit collection to what the service needs to run. That falls into three buckets:

• Account information you provide, name, firm, email, and billing details used to create and maintain your account.
• Content you upload, returns, documents, and questions you submit so a workflow can produce a result for you.
• Usage and device data, log data, IP address, browser type, and feature usage that help us keep the service reliable and secure.

2.How we use information

Information is used only to deliver and improve the service you asked for:

• To operate, maintain, and secure your account and the workflows you run.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To send service and account communications you can opt out of where the law allows.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

3.Your client data and AI models

This is the part that matters most to a firm. Your client data is never used to train AI models, not ours, and not any third party's. Content you upload is processed only to produce the specific output you requested, and is retained according to your plan settings.

4.Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share information only with vetted subprocessors that help us run the service under contract, or when required by law. Each subprocessor is bound to confidentiality and security obligations consistent with this policy.

5.Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded content is retained per your workspace settings and deleted on request. After account closure, residual data is purged from active systems within a defined window and from backups thereafter.

6.Security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, enforce role-based access controls, maintain audit logging, and align our controls with recognized industry standards. No system is perfectly secure, but security is a first-class requirement in how we build.

7.Your rights and choices

Depending on where you are based, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information:

• Access and export the data associated with your account at any time.
• Request correction or deletion of personal information.
• Pause or cancel your plan directly from your account settings.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.

8.Children's privacy

The service is intended for tax professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
